Food was not as good as usual. I drove a long way and was disappointed. I expected better.

Outstanding food in Perry near the fairgrounds. Down home cooking, cafeteria style and friendly folks. Parking is cramped but food makes up for it.

Love this place. Just moved out of Perry and this is one of the main things I'll miss. Cafeteria style restaurant, very good good and very good price. Staff is great at keeping your drink full. Ms. Judy is a saint.

This place is amazing. I spend a lot of time on the road, and most restaurants just don’t taste home made, and most aren’t. The food here tastes like mom just made it and you’re sitting down for a family dinner. I wish I lived around here, because this would be somewhere I’d go a lot.

This is a MUST place to eat. Large portions of some of the BEST food. And their homemade desserts I crave

The food is just like eating out of Mama's Kitchen and the ladies who helped are so sweet and warming they made my family feel very special we will definitely be coming back here and making this place a regular part of our weekly routine :)

Good food. Obviously a place where the locals come. Got the rib eye steak. Cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Family owned. For those who are sensitive to how much salt they eat choose carefully. Flies distracted from the meal.

The Smoked Ribeyes are wonderful😋♥️♥️♥️ This is our second visit and both times have been a great experience. Had lunch here with the family , we were passings thru and found this place on Google maps. The reviews were correct, the food is awesome, country cooking. We had 6 in our group and everyone tried something different, it was all good .Friendly, fast service, the place was spotless. It looks like it fills up fast around noon .We will be back.

Southern family style comfort food in a pleasant location with a friendly staff. There is always a variety of food available and it is well prepared. I always enjoy the dessert, especially the peanut butter pie.

If you want some great tasting food cooked to perfection, the Oil Lamp Restaurant is the place to visit. First visit but won't be my last!

Absolutely delicious, fresh, tasty food served by good people. Peanut butter Oreo Pie is a must if you love sweets.

This place has some of the best food you’ll ever eat. It’s all fresh, all home style, all the time. It’s not open on Sundays, but that’s ok. Everybody needs their time off. Just be sure to get there early enough to have time to finish it all. Their portions are generous.

The food here is amazing and they have a wide variety to choose from. The pie selection will take us forever to get through because there are so many types. The staff in the dining area are extremely helpful and sweet, they seem to love their job and take great pride in doing it.

Awesome food served cafeteria style, they are very efficient and the service could not be better. Be sure to get a slice of pie! They will warm the pie and surprise you with ice cream when you are ready.

The food is good. Offer a wide variety of vegetables. Enters and dessert and the tea is very good. Custimer service for the most.part has always been awesome. You feel welcomed and like family. And if there is any issue at all, I have only had one, only with one item left out.of to go order, it is addressed right away. This is just an awesome.place to eat

Everything I've ever eaten at the Oil Lamp Restaurant has been delicious, and today was no exception. The choices in comfort foods and desserts are amazing. I'm so stuffed right now...fat & happy, as it were. I'll be back again soon, and so should you!

My group wanted something a little bit off the beaten path and they discovered this place on my trip to Atlanta Georgia as a charter driver I take people all over and I want to tell you they had fresh fresh food I made myself a large salad with chicken and broccoli & cauliflower grilled chicken was fresh and everything tasted great!👍I had steamed cabbage also which was delicious but I saw everything from cakes to pies to grilled chicken to various types of beans potatoes rice everything you want is there in this cafeteria style Restaurant but it's kind of like soul food as well and it's just home style good comfort food😋

The Oil Lamp is a modest cafeteria style restaurant serving well prepared southern country food at an average price point. We were there on a Friday night with a large horse show at the nearby state fairgrounds. The line was out the door, but it only took 15 minutes to get our food. Our bill for 2 was $23.60. It is VERY popular with the locals as well as visitors. I give 4 stars instead of 5 because the food, wait staff and decor is very good but not great. We would definitely go back. Btw, the Oil Lamp is closed Saturday and Sunday!

Wonderful cafeteria style resteraunt. Casual, friendly, gracious servings, and convenient location. Oil Lamp staff were helpful and did not mind any extra effort to make our dining experience complete. This is a regular stop for us when we are in Perry.

For St. Patrick's day yesterday the corned beef and sauerkraut were best I ever had. All their food is so good we will continue to support their take out which starts Fri March 20th. When you need a treat their caramel apple pie is especially good. Fridays are meatloaf day. We have been loyal customers for a really long time.

I can definitely see why this place is an Icon... Very, very clean establishment. Food is obviously prepared with freshness and flavor in mind, with served portions well worth the $$. Every employee seems to really care that you are there and are willing to accommodate your needs in a enthusiastic, helpful manner...!! A real gem of a restaurant !!!!!
